Im very happy to have had the opportunity to photograph these three gentlemen who are donating their hard earned money to education.

The ad was posted in the Edmonton Journal, Calgary Herald, and Globe and Mail. In addition, a different shot was used in this article for UCalgary.ca

For day two I couldn’t resist to do most of them in colour, since it contributed to the mood of the scenes in a big way. I’m very happy with the results, but more importantly the crew is. I hope I can work with them again sometime in the future!

I was asked to be the stills photographer for four horror vignettes being filmed over the weekend at a local abandoned school.

Here are my favourites from day one, Saturday. I decided here to go all black and white. I found I shot different using that foreknowledge. I don’t regret my decision, but don’t know if I’ll go exclusively b&w in the future.

I had a great time. I was surrounded by creative people and I spent all day working to tell a behind the scenes story through photography, a great challenge.

I brought almost all my gear, lol, and ended up using primarily my Sigma 50mm, and my EF 16-35mm f2.8, and no flash!
